Our school is committed to providing all students with a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment free from bullying and harassment that promotes respect, acceptance, and empathy.

Staff, students, parents and caregivers, and community partners will work together as a team to help make our school safe and welcoming for everyone.

The Safe and Inclusive School Plan highlights some of the key actions that our school community will put in place as part of our bullying prevention and intervention efforts.

Key Priorities and Goals

This year we are focusing on setting clear and consistent expectations for all students at North Meadows.

We are doing this to build on our work initiated in 2023/2024

Key Actions or Strategies

  • Posting co-created expectations for various places through the school as a reminder for students occupying those spaces.

  • Continue with our colour houses to build relationships across the grades.
  • Continue to celebrate positive behaviour with Zaps weekly.

Community and Home Connections

  • Ask your child about their sense of belonging at school.
  • Try highlighting the positive events from school and home with your child.
  • Support them in practicing positive conflict resolution strategies.
